Paint the Room Still with your Legacy

The words aren’t forced

her expressions are raw

a natural need

to fill the silence.

The silence of a blank space

a sincerity so, utterly unrest-less.

The additives slip away

with the passing seasons.

Dreams of colliding colors,

dusty books,

Frozen in time, attached to the sentiment of “now”.

Nothing, soon stops.

Something, always begins.

Enjoy the silence.

Reach for the sound
that will reverberate with pleasure.

When years sit upon your body

and stillness encompasses your eardrums,

these memories are the movies

you will replay.

I hope you smile

as the silence,

now filled with words,

begin to repeat

to the generations to come,

in a song carried by the midnight wind.

  1. I love this piece. It contains so much more within it as far as the expressions of what we are. I hope to see more of this style from your blog. I thank you for contributing to the blogging community. I like to see others expressions and experience play out in an artistic style. It is an interesting read. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
